How We Started
Back in 2019, we noticed something missing. Dance events across Ireland — salsa socials in Dublin, bachata weekends in Wexford, summer festivals on the Wild Atlantic Way — they were scattered, hard to find, and nobody was making them easy to access for people 45+. There was this huge community hungry for connection, music, and movement. But they weren't finding each other.
That's when czechiastone Ltd launched. We didn't start with an algorithm or fancy technology. We started by listening. We talked to dancers in Galway who wanted to know about upcoming Latin festivals. We connected with organizers in Dublin running regular salsa socials. We mapped outdoor summer gatherings along the coast. We heard from people who'd stopped dancing because they thought their best years were behind them — and we knew that was wrong.
What we've built isn't just a calendar. It's a bridge. We're helping people rediscover their passion for dance, find their community, and build friendships that last. Every event we list, every resource we share, every connection we facilitate — it's all designed around one simple belief: dancing isn't about age. It's about joy, rhythm, and belonging.
